The beach is clean and was a saviour in our nightmare holiday. We hired sun beds everyday for €8 which were a godsend as when you looked out to the sea you could be anywhere but Aguadulce! There is graffiti everywhere and it’s very obvious...More

I had been to a vacation in Almeria and I stayed one day at Aquadulce too. It is an excellent beach, very close to Almeria. There are buses going from Almeria to Aquadulce. I really enjoyed Aquadulce, a great place for both adults and children....More

Really nice, clean beach with a very relaxed vibe. Even though it was busy it still felt really spacious. It has showers and toilets, and several bars along the beach. We were at the port end and really enjoyed it.

Its a beach. Has pebbley sand and sea. Sea cleanish. Does have excellent access for wheel chairs (by the harbour end).

Beach is shingle rather than fine sand. Its clean but sea could in June. Its nice to walk around the marina as there are nice views.

Sand isn't soft so take swim shoes with you. There were many jellyfish and a local girl told us they sting.

Hi Sunloverr1 I have just returned from The Portogmagno hotel and yes I agree it is slightly run down, but closed on Sunday for a two month refurb. We were just unlucky going when we did. However, I feel that some of your comments are slightly unfair. The graffiti - yes there is some on the beach walls but none at all on the hotel which your review suggests. The beach is spotless and Very well maintained. Restaurants - did you wander 10 minutes up to the Harbour where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars?? Some very high standard!!!! Food - yes very much catered for the Spanish.....BUT you are in a little gem of a place and it is SPANISH!!!! Fortunately there were NO burgers, chips or pies!!!!! The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you - we took our 3 year old grandson and they were wonderful with him. The drinks were mainly branded so no problem there also. I just feel that your review was a little harsh - but everyone is allowed their opinion. Regards JulieMac

Hi juliemac I’m not sunlover1 and I’ve never been to that hotel so I cannot comment on it. My husband and I stayed at Roquetas de Mar and it was lovely. I don’t understand why I’ve received this email at all ??????
