We stopped here on way back from Neuschwanstein and after the hustle of the castle this quiet little spot was exactly what we needed. The Abbey is free to visit and there are nearby parking lots for 4€. Don’t expect any English signage on the...More

We took a quick visit of the abbey and purchased so beer. Beautiful church and grounds. After we left the area, we found out there was a cheese store, and wish we could have visited.

A beautiful part of the world. We walked around the Basilica which has a wonderful painted domed ceiling. Definitely worth a coffee and cake in the cafe. Staff were pleasant.

The domed Abbey is beautiful inside and out. The architecture is incredible. The Abbey is also known for their beer, liquors and cheese. There is a restaurant a short walk from the Abbey.
