Good to go there but it is not the same castle you have seen in Niedzica. Mostly ruins with some attempts to restore outer walls and main connections.Nice view thou.

A beautiful castle with a view on a lake and Niedzica castle. For sure worth visiting and spending some time there.

Our group enjoyed a nice walk down a path and then a climb up to the castle. Nice views from the castle with birds and butterflies flying around the outside of the castle. There was a small shop and toilets in the carpark.

Czorsztyn is viewed as the 'other' castle, as it's on the less developed side of the lake. But it's a great place, left mostly in ruins, with a genuine historic feel that the more popular Niedzica lacks. The little taverna at the base of the...More
