Well worth the short walk from the Tren Blindado monument. This is a small life size statue rather that the very large one surmounting the Che Mausoleum...much more intimate and covered in interesting details. You will get much more out of your viewing if you...More

It is great experience to see this statue in life and the details of the statue is great. The surrounding seems in an ordinary place and not a lot of tourists so you can take photos.

Just 1 statue, not worth for making a detour only for this. In the background only a copy of the signature of Ché.

Interesting if someone tells you the story behind all the small symbols on the statue. Its located on the way from Tren Blindado to Loma del Capiro

I love the Che statue, his eyes gazing forward to a hopeful future while many tribulations are discernable around his body.

We stopped here on our way to the Armoured Train in Santa Clara. Unfortunately our guide did not explain (know?) the significance of all the intricate detail, but, even so, it would not have been worth a detour

to be honest I spected more from this. The statue is good, with full of details but nothing more. Far away from the city, kind of hide in the street. You can avoid it if you dont have enough time.

Another form of Che Guevara, I actually thought it would be much bigger but it is actually life size. What I liked most about it were the sall detail (for example the army coming out of his belt and so on)

A nice piece of artwork, but small and a bit hidden. We missed it walking past the municipal building, but found it going back.

In many ways this is a more impressive statue than the huge monument because it is so accessible. You can walk right up to it and admire the exquisite detail of the sculpture. There are a huge number of small figurines attached to the main...More

The child on the goat is a reference to Che's childhood and him riding away from the safety and security of his family in Argentina into parts unknown.
