Easy to find as it is right on the lake but if you come on Farmer's Market Day their parking lot is reserved for the market so parking might be more challenging. Changed since we last went; now is an inflatable aqua park. Mat going to the aqua park is great but there is a bit of a gap so you should know how to swim. At around $18/hr, it is reasonable for an hour's activity. Looked like fun! Lots of spots for parents to watch from a distance or to picnic. There are change rooms but they are hard to find, unfortunately. All in, fun day!

Great place to bring children 9 and up. I seen some children younger than this having a horrible time trying to stay on or being pushed off. Try and go during the week because we went on a Saturday and the lines we're so long and too many on the aqua splash. No beach, there is a small tiny beach to the left full of rocks. Lots of space for a picnic even on busy days. They gave us freezer which was nice while we waited in line. Be sure you do up the waiver before standing in line. You have to do one per adult. On busy days you can only buy per hour. 2 hours was plenty for us. If you have any previous knee injuries wear braces as I twisted my leg because the surface gets so sloppy with many people on it. The lifeguard did nothing and looked away so be sure your with another adult to help you. There are 3 platforms to get up easily. You have to swim about 6 meters to get to the aqua splash. My kids had a blast on this and would take them again. Go at 10:00 because you have to pay for parking and get in line which took us about an hour. After the main line you have to wait in another line to get on.

I tried to pay for half day at 2:15 and they said that they can’t because it has be 3 sharp. Waited in line again and one of the debit machine failed and when I came to pay at 3 sharp they said it all sold out. So not happy with the service and the mis-advertising. Its scam and waisted my time. If I knew from the beginning I wont waited the 45 min.

I really like the sylvan lake Aqua Splash I think it is great but the one in Kelowna is way better but this one is still pretty good.

There were a couple of problems with my sons and grandson's visit - first of all, the weather has been quite cool in Alberta and the lake is very cold for July. My young grandsons - age 7 and 6 - were freezing/shivering within 10 mintues of the experience. In addition, this activity is definitely not for young children - both of my sons suggested children should be at least 10 years old to enjoy this event. You are also going to want to go when the day is very hot.

If you or your kids want a good fun workout this is the attraction to take in. Of course you will have to wait till the summer months but don't forget to give this one a try. Park to the west of Chateau suites where the old water slides were. Not as big an attraction as the water slides but very good clean fun.

We booked for an hour around noon. We are a family of 5 and paid $65 for an hour. The full hour was really worth it. Life vests are provided. A big clock by the life guard station is visible so you can keep track of time. They put the start time on your wrists bands and they are generous with their time which is great considering not everyone there can swim fast. My teens 10, 12 and 17 all had so so so much fun. We’re hoping to go back again before summer ends.

I took my 11 year old son. We are both very active and good swimmers. On your first time one hour is plenty, but the end of that hour my son was tuckered out and I was having hard time standing up... and the next day I felt muscles I forgot I had :)
We had a great time and heading there again this weekend. Sylvan Lake is pretty chilly, so you want to be there on a HOT day.

On a hot summers day when you see so many adults playing like children with huge smiles on their faces you just know its going to be fun and it did not disappoint!
As soon as the kids got onboard they just loved it. Trapezes, monkey bars, slides, climbing walls, Cliff Jumps and banked running walls. It was like Ninja meets Wipeout.
The life guards were diligent and the staff were friendly.
The hardest parts were getting them off when our time was up and trying to keep up with the kids!
It does get busy on the hot days but everybody was respectful to other users.
For adults you definitely need to have a basic fitness level and make sure you pack lunch for after, we were soooo hungry!
You need to visit this attraction.

The Sylvan Lake Aqua Splash falls into STAGE 3 of the Alberta economic relaunch program, so at this time we have not been able to open this season. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year.
Is there any entrance fee entering in sylvan lake picnic?

Do we need to get ticket in advance? How much is the discount? For about 20 person.

Good morning! For a group of 20 people, there would be a 20% discount off the 1 Hour admissions. And for a group of that size we would strongly recommend you book in advance to ensure space on the park. Yes, there are areas that you can rent to have or bring a camping bbq and set up.

Hello! and thanks for reaching out. The minimum age for the Aqua Splash Park is 6 years old. 6-8yrs must have an adult go on the park with them, and 9 yrs plus can go alone. Hope to see you there!
