There is no admission fee to view and purchase perennials. You took the time to leave a negative review but couldn't get out of your car and ask about the admission fee. So I will explain it for you. The admission fee is for those people that just want to come and look at the award winning Botanical Gardens and walk our nature trails. Our valued customers know that they never pay for admission to purchase anything at our organic perennial nursery.

Inspirational, Knowledgeable + Tranquil Experience
May 2019 • Couples
We visited Plant Paradise Country Gardens for the first time and are already planning a return trip. The garden areas are thoughtfully and artistically designed so you will find inspiration for your own planting plus the owner will give you one on one advice about what will work for your plans. And you can buy the plants from her. Easy.
The Hardwood Forest trail and the Main Trail walks were very cool. I can imagine doing a meditation walk for relaxation and life contemplation there. I like that there are natural places - grass, logs to rest on along the way within the trail walks.
The owners clearly live, eat and breathe the organic gardening lifestyle, an inspiration in itself. A great experience.

I discovered Plant Paradise Country Gardens last year. The gardens are outstanding, and Lorraine is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Visiting is like having a new friend who just happens to know everything that you want to know about plants and gardening. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant B&B place
Oct. 2017 • Solo
I spent 3 days in October 2017 and had a very pleasant experience. Lorraine was very prompt in replying all emails and accommodated all my wishes in terms of arrival, breakfast, etc.

It is a very nice, clean place. You do have to share a bathroom, however if there are no other guests you have this beautiful place with huge living room and patio all to yourself.

As a bonus you can take some trails to have a short walk and to enjoy nature.

Beautiful, inspiring gardens

We’ve been to Plant Paradise several times now and have always marveled at the beautiful display of colours and variety of plants. We always come away with new ideas for our garden, inspired by what we saw and experienced here. The owners are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We’ve learned so much from them - our gardens are so much healthier after attending their workshops. The plants we have bought here have thrived in our gardens year after year.

SO BEAUTIFUL !
Sep. 2017 • Couples
We had the most wonderful time looking at all of the plants and walking through forests and many trails . Running streams and giant pond with plenty of wildlife. Some great ideas for us to do to our own garden.. The owner Lorraine was so nice and super friendly to us and took time out of her busy schedule to talk about all the plants and help us with a map of where to walk. As we are both elderly we couldn't walk all of the gardens and forest trails and wish we could of as it was so gorgeous. This is all done by a married couple and we were so impressed with how much love and work goes into this. We bought a few plants to take home with us..One is called a Papaya Popsicle.. Plants that we had never seen before but Lorraine explained how to tend to it and how it will come up every year as a perennial. Such a perfect day. I really suggest that you go with good walking shoes and take your time and relax and take in all of the beauty of nature there. There is not one thing negative about this place and we will be back for sure. An hour drive for us but worth it ! Thank you Lorraine for being so wonderful and for what you have made for all of us to enjoy.. You are truly an angel.. R&J

not the paradise we were expecting
Aug. 2017 • Business
Probably the worst experience we have had at a b and b. Felt very uncomfortable, Owner very strange and socially awkward. Be ready to share a bathroom and wash your coffee cup, also if you want a clean towel the next day you should bring your own.
For a $140.00 a night just stay at a hotel.

The worst guests we have ever had. These guests were obnoxious, hostile and disrespectful of our property. After showering they threw their wet towels on the oak hardwood floor. The next evening I politely requested that they hang up their towels on the provided towel racks. One of the guests proceeded to angrily demand fresh towels every day. We asked them if they had ever stayed in a B&B before and they said, “No”. To accommodate their request we immediately provided fresh laundered towels every day for their entire 3 night stay. I guess they thought they were staying at hotel where you get full maid service, which isn’t the case at a B&B. No guest that ever stays at Plant Paradise Country Gardens B&B is ever expected to wash up any dishes or cups that are used at breakfast. The whole idea behind a B&B atmosphere is to provide a home away from home. We do have a complete full service kitchen that guests may use for other meals or snacks. There are only 2 bedrooms and every guest is well aware that the bathroom is shared if the other bedroom is booked.

Aug. 2017 • Family
Me and my family visited this place without too much to do in mind and this place amazed us in every respect. We were so overwhelmed with the landscaping and gardens around we did not bother to go through the trails and other pars of it. It is very quite and natural. Planning to visit again and highly recommend if someone wants to experience pure nature..

Well worth another visit!

If you are into perennials this botanical garden is well worth a visit and it was filled with colour. We spent a couple of hours wandering around the nature trails and the gardens, and enjoyed it all. The formal gardens are especially notable for the colour harmonies, textures and varieties of its plantings all created with perennials. Even more inspiring is that it is all done organically. Amazing!

Gorgeous Gardens and Beautiful Trails
Jul. 2017 • Couples
We followed the route on the map given to us on our arrival and really loved all the different areas of this botanical garden. It was great to be able to chat with the friendly and very knowledgeable staff that where able to help identify plants. The gardens were gorgeous and immaculately kept. There were such beautiful flowers and a diversity of bees and interesting insects. The nature trails were relaxing and there was a mix of different areas to enjoy. We especially loved the trail that followed the creek and would definitely go back!
