This is the very first time in our more than 13 years stay in our city that we have visited this beautiful conservation area that is a mere 30 minutes drive from our home in Brampton.
This is a nice spot to explore specially during AUtumn because it has a swinging bridge overlooking the waterfalls, a beautiful fountain, and nice hiking trails. The bridge ,fountain and waterfall is very close to the small parking spot. It is best to make a reservation because parking is limited.

Parking used to be included in the price of admission...Now way too expensive as it's a separate fee...
The park used to be very nice and natural until it was recently "gentrified"......

Beautiful park but the entry fees are outrageous for the size of the park. $40 for four people to spend less than an hour in the park.

Currently this park is operating under pre-booked reservation system. So make sure to make a reservation before visiting. I visited this park on a weekday last week. The way to the park was amazing through the turns of the hill at Caledon. The park itself did not have much of fall colors. Due to covid, most areas are marked as single way but there were no one to restrict you to go the other way. With more traffic on weekends, it might be challenging.
The hike around the park is moderate. It might be difficult with very small kids as some areas are through the jungle and did not have proper road. Don't try to bring a stroller, it'll not work here.
The river rapid was fine. there are 2 bridges over it. The primary one is just at the entrance of the hike, beside the falls.
Expected lot of fall colors, going there in the peak season but somewhat disappointed. The drive was pretty amazing though. Make sure to go towards the Cheltenham badlands roads for another amazing drive through the colorful Caledon.

Day trip in summer. Going out of the hassle and bustle of GTA. Paid parking is available. The restrooms are clean. You can have a picnic and BBQ.

We headed this way during the Thanksgiving weekend to admire the fall colours. We chose this park as we'd never been. The drive through Caledon was like a fairy tale. Absolutely stunning fall scenery! We drove down several side roads and were amazed. Then as we approached the town of Belfountain there was a traffic jam. It turned out half of the GTA flocks to this park. But WHY??? The park is tiny for a conservation area. There are several much bigger and more picturesque parks in Milton and Hamilton. There is one very short trail - 600m. There is a 30 minute time limit for the picnic tables - ridiculous!!! But above all - most of the trees in the park are evergreens do there's hardly any fall colours to be seen here! Save yourself the $7 per person and lot's of disappointment ans SKIP THIS PARK!

It was a nice place but entry fee ruined our experience. $10 parking fee and $6.5 each person entry was way too much for a small conservation area. There was nothing much to do. Suspension bridge, Hike and small artificial waterfall were nice but not something extra ordinary, you would pay $36 for 4 persons. I was very disappointed. I have been to several other parks better than this for free or just with parking fee. Not going there again. Not recommended as well.

We visited here whilst on holiday and did the gorge trail . Wear stout footwear as there are lots of roots to clamber over but it's fun. A mix of board walk and trail paths but some of these are over rooty surfaces so not suitable for disabilities or pushing tiny kids. Our eight year old had no problems. We loved the suspension bridge over the Credit river and a little cool of our feet alongside the Credit par way through. Beautiful natural environment enhanced by a dam with water fall and a fountain and picnic area at the top. There are deep steps down to view the cascade if water and a man-made cave which is shut off but you can look through the bats. Picnic areas and water taps available. Toilet block is clean and in good order. Parking good in a carpark. Dogs on leads allowed.

The Belfountain itself is not anything particularly spectacular. The environs however are nice to spend a relaxing day at. There is a small suspension bridge too from either side of which you can get some nice pictures. We saw some very unusual flora too.

Not really ! For the picnic area and a little walk yes - but after that in the actual trails not so much - but can still be nice to visit :-)
