With the Harvest Trail, you are able to take a leisurely loop around two fishing ponds. Pitter-patter-pitter-patter, the rain continued to drizzle down as we started the Harvest Trail, making a piece of the boardwalk quite slippery. We decided to head left, and hiked our way around the two ponds so we would be able to see both. Lovely place to stop for a quick walk around.

Not a huge area, but a nice place to walk around the lake in autumn and enjoy the changing leaves. As someone who's not outdoorsy, it was just the right amount of nature (pretty trees, no bugs other than dragonflies). The walk wasn't strenuous or too long (including for the 6 year old in the group). The trail could be more clearly marked and it would've been nice to see more wildlife. Oh, and if people could stop leaving garbage behind, that would be great (there wasn't much but there shouldn't have been any).

We came across this place on our way back from the Island Lake Conservation area. There is parking available as soon as you enter the place. There is a fee of 5$, however since we had already paid at the earlier place we did not have to pay again as it falls under the same area.

We saw some people biking and most of them fishing in the area but the place is very very quiet. We had a nice hike around the area for about an hour and then left. Not much to do really if you are not into fishing.

a nice pit stop along the way during travels. Adjacent to the Caledon rail trail which provides access to the east all the way out past Palgrave or to the North out to Terracotta. Walking around the lake provides opportunities to see many of the local wildlife / birds. This can also be a nice place to take the kids for a quick fishing adventure.

This place online is highlighted as a small fishing destination that consists of two ponds, in which are bass and trout, so I've read. Will not boast, but I know when there are an abundance or fair amount of fish. As do most fishermen whether or not they catch anything. This place however in my opinion is fished out due to catch and keep. This location does not show signs of high fish population. I strongly believe for the size of the ponds there should be some sort of monitoring and limitations other then the spawning regulations. On the other hand its a nice place for a walk, trail around the ponds is nice, as well the docks in select areas are peaceful, during the week anyway. I hear different as opposed to the weekend apparently it gets pretty busy.
