All the donkeys had lots of space and food, they were really well cared for. And if they want cuddles they're free to walk up to the fence & say hello to you.

El Refugio is a well set up and run sanctuary for donkeys and mules etc. Each animal has a pocket history that you can read and they can be adopted too to help raise money.
