Another rural park well looked after. Children's swings , open areas to play. Great walks especially for dogs to run off their leads if supervised. Well looked after park and nice benches. Popular with the locals young and old. Busy in the summer, weekends and...More

Strolled around the park whilst visiting the village. A nice walk. Not a great deal to see but pleasant by the canal and the river.

Enjoying a day here as we connected to the tram to the street was a nice find. Disappointed that the park cafe was closed on a Saturday at peak time midday. The park itself has lovely open features and offers lots of historical information. Worth...More

You really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere! Plenty space for walkers, dog walkers, cyclists, boaters. Couple of snack bars. Band stand, benches, good "pavements"

Lovely clean park attended here for a festival. The park itself is well maintained and looked after. Plenty of bins around and seating along the paths.

One of the cleanest and picturesque parks I have visited . Live music at the bandstand and a game of cricket to watch. Very popular and I can see why. Recommended.

A lovely park created by Titus Salt for his workers, nice gardens to relax in, take a picnic then stroll along the river or canal, lovely way to spend a day.

From its original inception by Sir Titus Salt, this park has served the area for many years. Although it was extensively refurbished a few years ago, I like the fact that the park retains an almost Victorian style and feel. It is a lovely place...More

The children really enjoyed it. Lots of open space to run around. A nice river. The sand in the park was a little messy but all part of the fun. Toilets and changing facilities nearby at a cafe. I’ll go there again!

A great place for family. Kids can cycle round the park or just enjoy the play area. Dogs welcome. Nearby canal boat sells ice cream, sandwiches and drinks at reasonable price.

Sadly not really., there is a river and canal going though and somewhere to feed ducks etc. Nice stretch of canal with ice cream and hot food on offer from a narrow boat
