Domaine Weinbach seemed to be at the top of their class with grand cru and estate offerings -- and the only top rated winery from three we contacted that could receive us that weekend. Catherine Faller was both courteous and charming leading our group of...More

Domain Wienbach is a real pearl among Alsace wineries. Centuries of history, coming back to 1612 Les Clos de Capucines origin. One of its terroirs, the 2012 Gran Cru Schlossberg, has been named among Top 5 of Alsace Riesling 2016 Vivino Wine Style awards. Well...More

If you visit the area, you MUST visit the Weinbachs, and try their amazing wines. They are expensive, but worth every penny. Buy at least one bottle and save it for something truly special. The most amazing wines, the most amazing hosts.

We visited this domaine with friends. Run by three women this property is at the foot of the Schlossberg Hill. Beware, the wine is very expensive but it is still worth a visit and a small taste can't hurt anyone. The wine is of excellent...More

Outstanding wines served in a magnificent setting. Not easy to find though since the signs does not say Domaine Weinbach (well at least not that we could see). Wines are not cheap but absolutely fantastic. Worth a detour.

An ordinary recent wine is typically Eur 30-50. Vendagne tardives from a remarkable year might be 100+.
