Interesting exhibits of Afro-Brasilian religious history upstairs. It is one of the few places where you can actually see a colonial pelourinho (pillory), although the one that is here seems to be a replica.

I was a bit disappointed, as the whole museum actually only consists of two small rooms and an even smaller 4m2 square (where the 'pelourinho' is). There is some general explanation of the historic situation, but no explanation in relation to the objects exposed. Nice...More
