Very easy and cheap to get to by public transportation. It is an incredible site and you can explore it within a few hours. Continue in to the coast for a quick dip in the Mediterranean.

Not recommended. There are no paved walkways in Ostia Antica.

I would say it will be quite tricky, because all paths/roads are not flat.
