Stopped in this village on our way up to Teide. Late afternoon, very warm - very peaceful, no one around. Pretty - would loved to have had longer here.

Stubbled across this place today. Very busy so we thought we'd try. Don't do it, asked how much drinks were, we were told normal price. Then hubby ordered burger, asked for it well done! Came raw. Sent back asked again for well done, yet again...More

We were staying just down the road in la escalona but id guess most would pass through on the way up the mountain. A lovely peaceful village with lots of history and culture. Spotlessly clean! Good parking facilities also. Small cafes and restaurants dotted around....More

Little cafe in old town Square is worth a sit for a coffee and a brandy or two. Nice convent and church to visit as well
