Magnificent 365 degrees view from top of the ridge. Easy access from Åndalsnes in Norway. Daily bus service to the start point in Summer, departing every morning from Åndalsnes Train Station. Season Ultimo June - Ultimo September.

The best hike we had in Norway! Very demanding at times and not for the faint of heart in a few places but worth it! We caught a perfectly cloudless sunny sky day and that was awesome . We went up to Blanebba as well....More

I read many reviews before we went but somehow all the danger signs did not register. I don't regret a bit that we did this hike but I did think, while we were on it, that we might never get back. Seriously. Hours of climbing...More

We were here during the summer, and the weather was just magnificent. Our family took the bus from the train station and walked from there. Going up the mountain was good, with rough terrain in the beginning. Bring a lot of snacks, food and water!...More

Best trip ever over romsdalseggen ,, first time doing this and not last the wether was not the best, but if u are in the area u really need to do this, 7 hours trip, beautiful

We did both hikes. Romsdalseggen has a few tricky spots where they've placed chains to help, but those parts of the hike are pretty short, just take it easy and you'll be OK. Climbing up the ridge on Besseggen seemed more... More
