Not a lot there , sat on the stones watching the sea but a pleasant way to rest your legs after a long walk. Sea was too rough to swim in .

We walked down the valley to this wild beach. There were toilets, but no running water. Beach bar was closed. No refreshments available. Several picnic tables were available, with some shade from trees. Seven feral cats wanted our picnic. Sea is not safe for swimming,...More

Place is full of cats. View is not spectacular. There is actually almost nothing there. I would not go there. There is enough nice to see and do on the island.

I was looking forward to visiting this scenic beach, but was very disappointed. It's one big cat toilet. We observed cats defecating on the sand (within feet of oblivious sunbathers )and the picnic area.

We visited in December, when the whole area seemed wild but exciting. The sea was very rough, and care was needed to avoid breaking waves. An interesting place for a quick visit, in mid-winter, not a place to stay for long.

We took a very nice (if slightly strenuous) short hike over from Hermigua. We had heard that the beach bar had closed down since February, which unfortunately proved to be the case. We asked some crane workers who were around if it was due to...More
