The church is a lovely, peaceful spot. Exhibits on St. Maria Goretti are really interesting and very well maintained. The nuns in the museum/gift shop are very kind and helpful.

Nettuno is in general not interesting, this church is no exception. I've seen 50 better churches in Italy and at least 1000 in my life more beautiful than this one. Dull.

What a lovely church in its simplicity. Very serene and peaceful. Life story of Maria Goretti in the crypt in lower level of the church. Story was told in written and picture form. Nuns were very informative too.

The seaside shrine is just a few feet away from the beach. The facade is a bit modern in design. The historical structure has to take a backseat to secure the preservation of the church vis-a-vis location of the church. The shrine is dedicated to...More

Did not have the time to go inside but the outside is very peaceful. The arches on the side and the main entrance in the center are the highlights

We traveled to the church to visit the crypt where Maria Goretti is laid to rest. At such a young age, she had such a huge, loving and forgiving heart. The gentleman in the bookshop shared a lot of information about Marietta and her family...More
