Check out the old pump house, browse the history of the dam and pipeline, take a walk over the wall and many of the paths that criss cross the area then have a barbeque or picnic while watching the bird life and Kangaroos that live in the area. If you are thirsty you can drop into the old Mundaring Weir... More

History at its best in the heart of Mundaring Weir. The whole area is really lovely especially in Winter, give you the history of C Y O'connor and trial and tribulations of building a Water pipeline 600 odd Kms to the Goldfields - Kalgoorlie

WA does tourism so well, as illustrated by this large tourism trail. Well signposted for 70% of sites, informative interp' panels, genuine historical sites chosen and it all links well together

Only in WA is something like this promoted so heavily! Its a water pipeline! I popped in to a few sites along the Great Eastern Hwy to see if I wasn't just missing why this is a tourist attraction. Obviously I kept missing it and missing it...
