Based on the other reviews we had read, we had expected a lot. We got even more. The most amazing thing about the trip was that Captain Tom was just as excited, even after 28 years of doing this, as we were. He even took...More

This whale watch was amazing! We got very close to dolphins and humpback whales, which circled our boat for about 15 minutes. The zodiak boat was great because we were almost at eye-level with these amazing creatures. We also saw plenty of dolphins, a puffin,...More

Tom and his team helped facilitate a day that will last in our memories forever. They have thought trough all the things you might want or need on your whale watching adventure and have them ready before you even know to ask. Tom pointed out...More

Overall, the trip was good - saw whales, seals and birds - however, we were very disappointed because one member of our party could not participate because Ocean Explorations does not have gear for people of all sizes. We were not told ahead of time,...More

Although we didn’t see a triple breach like the lucky folks in mid-August, we saw three humpback whales and saw some tail slapping. Tom is an excellent guide. Don’t miss this trip!! It was well worth the drive!

This August we went out with Tom twice and neither time disappointed. The first time we saw it all - breaching, fin flapping and close encounters. The second time we saw a calf with its mother and a huge pod of dolphins. Tom is so...More

Captain Tom is fantastic and knowledgeable. We saw dolphins, puffins and of course humpback whale. We were lucky enough to see a mother and her calf. One whale came up right beside the boat. Amazing experience. Loved it.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our whale watching tour with Ocean Explorations yesterday! Tom is highly skilled at finding and tracking whales. His Zodiac can quickly reach the whales he spots in the distance. A larger, slower boat could never do that. At the...More
