Was advised to visit and wasn’t let down, we got the little private ferry over from Valletta, 2 euros each dropped us right outside, paid the small entrance fee and wandered around, worth sitting and listening in the experience rooms I would recommend putting it...More

Lots of walking uphill. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes. View of the surrounding harbour area was magnificent. They had two interpretation halls so take your time to explore and listen the the narratives.

A special room within the Fort is dedicated to the oubliette history, including video views of the underground cell, which for conservation purposes is not accessible to visitors per se.
