We stayed a couple of times at New Furano Prince. Walked over to th adjoining Ningle Terrace to explore. It was a nice little walk set in the woods. Quaint chalets housed a variety of handicraft and gift shops but nothing special. They do have a little cafe where you can take a break from the cold and enjoy a... More

Just loved the nice atmosphere with many nice products all separated in their own little hut. Sure for anybody finding something to his/her likes.

Must visit fabulous little village with interesting shops in delightful little wood huts, a fabulous Ice Bar (very tiny but cute) and a little coffee shop.

Expensive decoration stuffs but surely worth every cent as it's all painstaking handmade by the artists themselves. In particular, the leather shop and the windmill/plane shop owners/artists are quite exceptional. But it's really not worth the trip to visit specially unless you have some time to spare and personal transport.

Beautiful place during winter, especially during the night looks like a fairytale house. There is a coffee shop inside offering good apple pie and hot chocolate.

Take a stroll through the forest beside the New Furano Prince Hotel and visit each of the cottages and meet local artisans. As a glass artist myself, I like to meet other artists and see what they are creating. It gives me ideas that I can incorporate into my own art sometimes too. If you're looking for something unique, then... More

During winter and snow season, this place will become picturesque and fantasy place for everyone. There are 15 shops total in this place and all of them are hand craft shops, but the items selling are not cheap because of hand made with high quality techniques. Worth to spend 2 to 3 hours here if you are staying or passing... More

I enjoyed coming back to visit these 15 little shops which have a specialty of its own. The crafts are original and creative, and slightly expensive.
