The history is brought to life as you walk around the caves with projections on the walls. Great for during wet weather or hot days!

This is a great experience to learn about slate mining. The underground tour was great. The tour guide was very informative. The have a go experiences are really good too. With demonstrations were great well worth the money.

Freezing cold but warm hearted is my summary. If touring in an ex-military all terrain vehicle to the highest peaks and then being guided underground wasn't enough then the wonderful explanations by guide Bryn put the icing on the cake. Loved every minute of it.

The caverns are cold and wet so dress for it. It was a complete adventure as you get to try your hand at slate mining and blow up something. The light show alone is worth the trip. Great for kids of all ages

Malcolm is the best guide ever. A unique learning experience. I did not know anything about slate industry before. A must place to visit when you are in Snowdonia.
