Dating back to the 15th Century the house and farm are brought to life with characters from the Island's past. Explore the orchard and learn about bygone crafts and quirky traditions from the resident Goodwyf. Find out more about our history of cider making and Jersey apples. During the summer visitors can meet the Hamptonne piglets and calves in the traditional farm-stead with outdoor yard and mud bath and Jersey cows graze in the fields at Hamptonne . Special events will take place throughout the year for all the family to enjoy, including the annual Fais'sie d'Cidre, and a sensational blend of sounds and cider. Find out about our Heritage Pass - four visitor attractions for the price of three on our website or at any of our visitor attractions.

Beautifully restored farm and country buildings. Worth the difficulty in finding it as it was very interesting and well laid out with lots of information in the different rooms, houses and buildings. Lovely!

We were in Jersey on a 6 day break and came here one morning. It was very interesting to see farm life from centuries ago and also from the 1940's. Staff were pleasant , friendly and very informative. Nice to see chickens wandering around the...More

The reconstructed houses had lots of detail about lifestyle. The 'Goodwyf' character had lots to tell, but you have to ask questions as she does not engage with you unless you do so first. Nice to see pigs and calfs but could do with more...More

TripAdvisor said it was closed today BUT IT WASN'T! Check the museum's own website for accurate opening hours. Very interesting and not at all crowded, plus lovely welcoming staff. The chickens will be wanting some or all of your picnic lunch, so beware.

A wonderful historical look at country living in Jersey. Each house is furnished in different periods. A nice area to walk and for children to play. Listen to the Good Wife tell her accounts of life hundreds of years ago. Very friendly staff and volunteers.

Informative and interesting museum which we always visit every year. Love to walk around the woods and orchards and see the animals. Lovely to be able to stroke the Jersey cows! Tea room not great but everything else perfect.

Thanks for your review of Hamptonne. Could you let us know what was wrong with the tea room? We'd like to ask our cafe owners to look into any problems.

We are not sure that this review is for Hamptonne Country Life Museum....Hamptonne Country Life Museum does have a old horse pulled trolley, but no lorries, bikes or organs.
