We only came to look at this as it is the police station used in Montalbano. It was a pleasant enough building but unimpressive compared to the thousands of historic buildings in Italy. Only for fans.

Our tour guide obviously though we ought to be brought here but, never having heard of the television serial, it was rather lost on me. Nevertheless the building was very fine and the office very authentically bygone splendour and you could quite see the attraction...More

We visited Scicli with the intention to see the filming location of Montalbano series. We were very surprised that we could visit his offices and see the scenery as it is on TV. We were lucky to enjoy the tour on our own with two...More

Its just a nice piazza, nothing terribly special. Scicli itself is very pleasant. The piazza is of interest to montalbano fans, and its possible to look inside the building.

It is not difficult to imagine yourself walking down the steps with Salvo, Mimi and Fazio. Inside the offices are just unbelievable as the office of the mayor os Scicli. Outside does not really show Scicli, Vigata, as it appears on TV. The street is...More

My apologies if the title of this review means nothing. You get to see the Mayor's office in Scicli town hall. It does however pass as the Inspector Montalbano's bosses office in the TV series of the same name. The room is available to visit...More

Ok, ok, it's touristy, but it was cool to see the place. If you're into it there are tours of the locations from the show. There' even a self-guided tour.

Featured in a popular Italian TV show about a detective. In a compact town square which is very busy at night and on weekends.
