Scicli may not be as famous as Noto or Ragusa, but is definitely worth visiting !
This place stole my heart instantly. It;s good for an evening stroll and a good dinner, but I believe that the best way to experience it is to go...More
Really tried hard to put Scicli up there with its other Baroque Val di Noto cousins but just couldn’t manage it. We only did three of the towns, Noto, Modica and Scicli. On a personal level don’t think we could have appreciated doing anymore back...More
We stayed nearby for a week in a villa for 8 and couldn’t get enough of pottering around this beautiful town.
Still mainly local families but such a warm friendly welcome everywhere we went.
Beautiful shops, churches and restaurants without the crowds of Modica.

Avoiding crowds to Noto, Ragusa and Modica - Scicli has it all. All the late baroque sicilian architecture and a church on every corner. Add on the cve society and have a look in the grotto museum. Run before the tourists discover Scicli.
