Awesome place. Amazing scenery. The walks are wonderful. There are all sirts of different things to see. Swim in tge beautiful river. Walk/ ride through the tunnel. Take in all the history. All for free.something for everyone and all fir free!!

We enjoyed the round trip from Paeroa to Waikino which took us about 4 hours depending on how much time you stop along the way. The kilometre-long tunnel is a highlight - bring a torch so that others can see you coming!

This has been on our list for many years. Had friends from Canberra.picked up e bikes from sports world Paeroa and had a great day. Great scenery stop off points. A really great social day good food bikes and company

Hi, does anyone have experience taking a baby in the buggy? I have a 4mnth old and am keen to take her but am unsure how bumpy it would be for her? Thanks!

Bump! I'd love to know the answer too as thinking about taking our 10mth old. The bike rental guy said people do take little ones and they often fall asleep!

Hello, i would like to do this trail walking, is it possible? I start in Thames to Paeroa, The second day from Paeroa to whaihi, i return from Waihi to Paeroa in The end of The day by transfer or by buses, The third day from Paeroa to Te Aroha. I sleep in Te Aroha and continue my Trip, thanks.
