Great place for Tough Mudder

I participated with my son and brother-in-law at my first Tough Mudder event. It was a blust. This ski hill is a great location for this event.

The two best times to come to Mount St Louis Moonstone is in the winter and in the fall. There is days worth of skiing in the winter, and the view from the top of the hill is stunning. If you are a trick skier, the park there is great! If you like hiking or running, you can come for... More

I love this place. Okay, it is Ontario and really, it does not compare to some places in the Rockies or Laurentians. The reality is that we live in a province without a mountain. However MSLM has enough vertical to make it fun. It attracts plenty of people so one much watch out for those who are reckless on the... More

Easily the best snow making machines within an hour and a half of Toronto. When there is no snow on the city streets there is usually still great skiing and boarding at moonstone. Two years ago they put night lights in. For the most part I'm not a fan of night skiing feeling the lights fail to give an accurate... More

Louis as it's known by locals has 3 parks and 2 pipes. It is ranked in the top tier of parks on the east coast. Family owned and operated it's very low key and friendly.

Although the hills are not as large, I always enjoy going to Mount St Louis Moonstone. All the staff are very kind, the snow is usually great, prices are reasonable and its never too busy. Lots of food options in the chalet. Rentals available too.

As far as Ontario ski hills go, this is one of my favorites! There are lots of runs, lifts are quick, and lineups are minimal. The signage on the slopes are easy to read, and I never felt like I didn't know where I was going. The runs were perfect for the kids to manage. Rental was quick and easy,... More

My girlfriend did not have the confidence to really ski anything past a bunny hill before. The 1 hr lesson Robert insisted she took encouraged her that she had nothing to be afraid of; we then skied all the hills and had a great day. The lesson surely saved us from having a domestic, as my enthusiastic coaching would not... More

We discovered Moonstone last year and my kids love it! Its a bit closer than Blue and the mountains are just perfect for our family. The lifts are great because they are fast and efficient. The lodge is nice. We actually know how to ski but went on those lessons they offer and they did help us even though we... More

My sister and I usually go skiing once a year together and as a result, we're picky about where we go since we're not very good. We struggle to find resorts with a good variety of easy green runs and more difficult blue runs. We did some research and discovered that Mount St. Louis Moonstone has more of the "more... More
