I was fortunate enough to be there on a Sunday and so, attended a Mass, which was very well attended by locals. It is a very beautiful church, very interesting architecture, and they have a spectacular organ, which I would love to have heard, but...More

Went here for a pilgrim mass and was thrilled with the location, the church itself and the friendliness of all the parishioners who wished us well. Don't miss it!

Most churches in Spain charges for entry, not this one. If you want the light in then you pay one Euro. Beautiful outside and inside.

This is a nice space for quiet after walking the Camino. It is in the center of town center. Unlike many along the Camino, there is no admission fee.

Almost didn't go in but the door was not locked. What a gorgeous interior. Great spot for a few moments of silence to absorb what the Camino is all about.

On the spur of the moment we decided to go into this church which is located on the Pilgrim's Trail. We are very glad we went in as the ornamentation was stunning.

We called into this beautiful church as received a stamp for our pilgrims passport, well worth a 10 minute detour.

This was a very nice church. The lighights were the beautifully carved door and the gilt, or was it gold, altar. The rib vaulting was also very nice

This is one of the Cathedrals along "The Way", which is lovely however far too much gold. Worth a visit.

If you are on the Camino, you will find Puente le Reina a nice stopping point. The old town is charming. The Church of Santiago is medieval, dating since at least 1142. A beautiful portal is your welcome, but go inside to see the monumental,...More
