I really like this part of Mariehamn, in my opinion the best, more interesting and picturesque. Great to see the old chapel, the fisherman houses, old boats, shipyards and the very atmospheric shops and museums (including a pub that look like a boat cabin) absolutely...More

Beautiful area for strolling around on a sunny day. The smell of tar from the old woden boats leavs no one untouched! Lovely pizza at Pub Niska and some small souvenier shops and handcrafted jewlerys! Worth a visit if the weather is with you..

You would expect an island with such a maritime tradition to have a maritime quarter. This is an impressive salute to the heritage

Picturesque and charming, indeed, specially if the weather is good, and if it´s Summer, since all the sites will be open. Some art galleries, and places to eat, also. At the end of the quarter, there is a small and charming chapel.
