Historical and Art Museum all under one roof. Very convenient! Small, well organized art exhibit. The historical/cultural part was very well done. You can learn all about the history of the island and how people lived there for several centuries. Well worth a visit!

Swedish ,Russian and now in Finland but with a majority of the population speaking Swedish this museum is a good background to the history. Rather surprisingly the first Victoria Cross was won in the Aland Islands at Bombassadron fort

Small art museum gives you a good impression on local art as well as the pretty impressive collection. Leaves a bit confusing feeling. Luckily the entrance fee is affordable and includes another museum in the same building.
