The visit to Canonteign falls was meant to be the last part of the itinerary of our Devon & Cornwall tour, which till that point was absolutely amazing. We (in two cars) drove to this "privately owned" waterfalls through the gate which bore an "OPEN"...More

A bit daunting when you are told it's 90 steps up but it's well worth the climb. Beautiful ferns and trees. The waterfall is man made but still stunning. There are seats to rest on the way up. The view from the top is amazing....More

Travelled here from Somerset. The journey only took just over an hour, and it was very easy to find, as it is well signposted. We got 10% off admission, as we had a voucher which we had printed off of the web site. There was...More

I found myself popping into Canonteign Falls cafe for a warm drink. Ruby, the young lady serving, suggested trying their Halloween hot chocolate. It was just what I needed. Thankyou as always for such a friendly service.

Our first visit to these falls. Glad I was wearing my walking boots! Beautiful scenery, however, disappointing to find that this waterfall is the result of man diverting the original flow, with metalwork visible under the flow. Amazing views from the top. I found it...More
