We went to Pozos Azules as we were told it was unmissable...but for us it's totally missable! The entrance fee is 8000pesos, you walk down to the pozos, it's a circuit that take overall approximately 30minutes. You pass 6 pozos, the pools are clear, the...More

One of the most odd and pointless 'tourist attractions' I've been to. It's simply a few small man made ponds with a nice blue colour. If you're stuck for something to do!

Villa de Leyva's surrounds are an arid space with most of the area deforested. It's not attractive. Put a dam or two in that happen to have a nice green colour due to minerals in the soil and it doesn't really make the environment any...More

Walking around Pozos Azules is very relaxing. You can take great pictures and have long walks. All the "Pozos" are marked with arrows. There's even one where some people don't go because they can't see the path. But this one is really nice.

This is a nice place to stop if you happen to be in the area and would like to take a walk with some scenic views. We were exploring the area during the holiday weekend, visiting various sights, winery, other places of interest. We had...More

Only thing I got out of this place was a good selfie. $8000 pesos is far too much to tour a man made lagoon.

We were quite disappointed, we hired a taxi to get there & with the entrance fee we paid far too much for what we got - 10 mins of walking around 2 small lakes. Perhaps, if it's hot, it is nice to have a swim...More

Was very disappointed with the two small pozos that they have. The color is emerald green but very unkept

nothing special, the pools are closer to grey than azul... nice trees tough but you don't need to go in to see those

Its a quick visit. Stunning views and place. It is just that, but that is what it is and so beautiful. Just park, pay a small fee, walk 20-30 mins (depending on pace) and see the ponds. A few pictures and back. Small but worth...More
