First of all it should be clear that these wells are located in several private premises, which charge an entrance fee of between 10 to 15 thousand pesos per person to enter.
But once inside and you can do the tour, you will certainly see that it is worth it, the landscape is simply beautiful.
The walking tour can take approximately one hour to one hour to ten minutes.

Hadn't appreciated you had to pay 15,000 COP entry fee. The pools are OK. More green than blue. There are nine of them that you take in on a pleasant circular walk of around 30/40 mins, with a fairly steep climb back to the entrance. Would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. If you didn't have time to visit during a trip to Villa de Leyva you wouldn't be missing out.

It cannot be considered a touristic attraction. It is no more than a hill erosion converted to a few dams to catch water in the middle of a devastated and almost deserted area.
If the water is blue or brown does not make any difference. Most laundry soap are also blue.

Thought we could swim here, so we brought our camping towels and bathing suits, but no swimming allowed. The woman who took our money was very clear there was to be no swimming. Only walking and observing. Nice for a walk, but nothing spectacular.

Wonderful and nice place to visit , the landscape is breathtaking , it easy to conmute especially by car ( 10 minutes way from Villa de Leyva ) the entry price is affordable , and the trekking signs are easy to follow , you spend around 2 hours visiting the different lagoons

I had highest expectations, the reality is: expensive 10k plus not include the transportation, around 10min by car from the town. You are going to see 6 ponds, when you realize those ponds has a shape not naturally made but human invention. It’s when I thought I payed just to enter and see water in the soil, didn’t have any color special, anything remarkable

Nothing special here to see, some holes in the ground with blue water. You will probably pass by them on the way to somewhere else, no need to stop.

To be fair, the first time we arrived at around 4 pm and they were closing. We were told the will open the next day at 10 am. We went the next day and the place was closed. We went to the nearby house and everything was closed and locked.
The telephone ni mber listed in TripAdvisor is not in service.
Very dissapointed!
