We loved Villa de Leyva, the cobblestone streets, friendly people, great food - it was an amazing visit, highly recommend, only 3 1/2 hours from Bogota. The small city is quiet and clean yet full of life.

Well maintained structure depicting colonial life and the merging of European and indigenous cultures.
Grounds are lovely and brings history to life.

Enjoyed this museum....was great for practicing reading Spanish...and interesting enough to keep me going! And it’s free...check the hours though...not sure it’s open everyday.

I visited this museum in Villa de Leyva. Place is nice and well maintained. Entrance was free. Tour guide was knowledgeable. It gives a glance to Colombian founding father Antonio Narino.

I am impressed with such a collection. Kids should be taught about the heroes of Colombia. He has done so much for the country. It is a beautiful place, well situated
and well maintained. A guide should be good to explain more of the significance of the objects placed there.

This house where the museum is located was renovated very well, so besides the museum you get to see how were the houses 450 yrs ago in this beautiful town of the Andes

Bumped into this Museum by accident and was provided a lovely potted history of one of the Founders of Modern Colombia. Had a guided tour free (in Spanish) and it was one of best things on our visit.

This is a good museum to one of Colombia's founding fathers and spiritual leader of the independence movement, who lived here. However, evidently nothing here is original, the house being a reproduction we were told, and the items just general items from the time period, not anything Narino had. He was of course a very important and well-regard figure in Colombian history and national identity but the museum, though informative and wroth a look, is not really exciting otherwise.

Hahahaha si claro, de eso me enteré en ese mismo 2015 cuando formulé la pregunta. Muy oportuna la respuesta del representante de Casa Museo
