Being in hotels and discover the existence of a museum of the car, but not only that, it was a real surprise. The museum is cute, with themed mannequins dressed that still characterize most of the scenery. there is no one style but many all together. Also a pleasant diversion during a business trip

My wife isn't much interested in cars and bikes but this museum has so many nostalgic exhibitions (tv and radio, telephones, 1950's caravan) that even she was happy to pass an hour or two lost in fond memories of childhood. A must visit.

Wow!! Definitely one of the best place to visit in town! Great old and vintage cars, motorcycles, etc.... Beautifully and historically arranged.. With great attention to details! If you have father and grandfather along- then it's a sin not to bring them here!

In such a small place they have managed to put so much stuff in there. They even have a small kids play area.

Collection of all kinds of old techology and motor driven devices. Actually superfun for all ages, for me because I remeber using some, and for they younger once because they can't believe we've ever used it!

If nothing else to do it is certainly worthwhile to have a look at this super nice collection of historical cars and motorcycles. Nearby is the beautiful guest harbour and many good lunch restaurants. Plenty of parking space.

The Motala Motor Museum is a great little place to visit. Combined with great motor history (motorbikes, cars, boat engines etc.) it also has a area for sound and communication containing things like old recordplayers, early radios, early phones and the history of cellphones looooong before they became smartphones. It contains so many things that our children never knew existed.... More

Motala Motormuseum is a barn like place, where somebody collected really everything. Screws, plices, cars, toys, really all you could think of. complete repair shops or radio room, unbelieveable but true. we stayed in the Hotel above, which is nice but expensive for what is delivered

Interesting collection of cars and history. Take the time and visit this museum while in Motala. There is coffee and restaurants right by so make a day of it. When we were here in May there was an auction being held close by and also a flea market. It's free if your guests of the hotel.

What an amazing place to spend a few hours! Had no clue Sweden had such a wonderful museum till we decided to go to Motala. They have an amazing vintage radio, TV,bike and car collection.
