This review is specific to my experience trying to sno-go at Sugarloaf. I'm a competitive athlete/ instructor on the sno-go, and I was very excited to come see what Sugarloaf had to offer in terms of terrain and difficulty. Despite being a premiere partner with snogo, they arbitrarily limit the lifts you're allowed to use to only beginner terrain, and half of those lifts are closed mid week. It's like going to Disneyland and only being allowed to ride the hotel escalator because the staff aren't familiar with the shoes you're wearing. Keep in mind that all mountain access is granted to skiers and snowboarders, just not the snogo. Despite advertising it as an option. And being a Boyne resort. And being a snogo premiere partner. The lazy answer I got when I tried to find out why they weren't allowing me on the lift was "conditions". When I tried to speak to guest services about it, they just repeated the same information with no explanation. If these things had been adequately explained on their website I wouldn't have had to waste an entire day driving up, setting up my equipment, checking in to a hotel and getting on to the snow only to find out I wasn't actually allowed to do anything. Only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because of my albeit brief interaction with hotel/lift staff who were very friendly and tried to help, but in the end got shut down by management. tl:dr This is not a snogo friendly resort despite pretending to be one. If you plan to start riding a snogo/ are experienced and want a lot of terrain, go to Sunday River.

Got scammed by Boyne Associates , corporate owners of Sugarloaf Mountain Resort. Paid for tix via Working Advantage during COVID last spring and they would not honor them this spring. Boyne got my money, hundreds of $$$ and refused to provide tix this March. Scammed. Too bad. Doubt this would have happened under old ownership. BUYER BEWARE. I cant begin to tell you how disappointed I was with the ticket sales office.

We checked-in last evening and were disappointed to find that our Internet did not work. And, despite assistance from a sweet tech person who came to our condo, we still have no WiFi access nearly 24 hours after checking-in. They gave us a $100 credit for this evening but they offered no alternative for WiFi access. This is just the main issue. This doesn’t even touch upon the antiquated decor of the condo we are in as part of the Snowbrook condo community.
