Though not very big but the Nahar singh palace is a symbol of fight for independence when Raja Nahar Singh gave tough resistance to the British in 1857...He was executed in 1858.. This palace was initially constructed in 1739.. It is a good heritage place to visit.. Presently Haryana Tourism runs a hotel cum restaurant here which is also good

Hidden deep inside the industrial township, is this old palace that is not exactly in ruins but not well preserved too. When it comes to history and monuments, Faridabad and Ballabgarh have hardly anything to boast of, and hence this palace deserves a visit if you are around in town. You may not find anything spectacular though, not even basic... More

Raja Nahar Singh Palace hotel is actually no less than a surprise from me in Delhi NCR. Its situated at a very good location, pretty close to the highway. Architect of this palace is also good, though pretty small to be called a palace but still it feels authentic. Highlights of the palace are: 1) Bar - Its really nice,... More

If you want to experience a hint of regal experience in Faridabad, this is the place to go. There was also a nice restaurant close by when I was there. You can sit there for a couple of drinks and some nice food. Over all you wont regret going there.

The palace has been converted into a restaurant. It is run by the Govt. of Haryana. We went for a dinner. In such a big property, there was hardly any crowd. Food was tasty but service was very slow. Upkeep and maintenance needs attention. Staff lacks warmth.

I live right next to the palace. It is not open for general public but one can book a room in the hotel rooms. mind you they are really expensive. Even after living right next to the palace since many years now, I haven't seen or heard anything about the place or people who live there.
