Levi is located in the western Lapland, in the middle of pure nature and large wilderness areas. Levi is the most popular and fast-growing winter sport resort in Finland. Alpine World Cup Race is arranged every November. The first snowflakes usually fall in October-November and the skiing season continues until early-May. With 43 slopes, 27 lifts and more than 200 km of cross-country trails, Levi offers the skiers the best there is. There are different types of slopes and skiing tracks that offer a possibility to enjoy skiing for both beginners and more experienced skiers. In the beginning of the season one can start with skiing on the 9 km long artificial "first snow" track, which is free of charge. The most challenging and well-assorted South Park in Finland for the snowboarders and the freestyle enthusiasts is situated in Levi. NEW Alpine Training Park for racing teams and clubs.

Levi is the best ski resort I've been to. It's quite big but easy to get around, even easier this year than before because they have improved the signs so you know better where to go to get to the lifts etc that you want to go to. The slopes are very nice and well taken care of. There are... More

We chose this resort as it allowed us to do a mix of winter sports, not just ski as is the norm in the alps. We went with Ingham and had three crosscounty ski lessons with a fantastic instructor. We also had an evening husky dog ride and morning snowshoe treck which took us across levi mountain, with hot sauasges... More

Of course, not to be compared to skiing in the Alps or in many places in neighboring Sweden. Levi has made full use of the mountain.325 m (206 m Base - Mountain 531 m), so the vertical drop is limited. Two 6 person chair lifts, a person gondola 6, an aerial tramway and various T-bar so it is mixed old and... I found this mountain a bit boring for advanced skiing. However it was great for learning with big wide open slopes that are not too steep. Can be a bit hard navigating your way round the mountain, but I think you can go all around if you get the right lifts and trails. Southpoint was nice and a great spot... More

Nice place, we found everything for every need. Bigger child got to ski first time and smaller one had sled and snowtubing options at same time. Many different pistes and other activities around, only accomodation is hard to find, it is better to book few months ahead.

No expense was spared in putting g this hill together. We rented equipment at bottom in Levi. Very good experience and good equipment for fair price. Lift tickets were also very reasonable. Hill has plenty of lifts. Conditions were well kept. Hill is vast. It takes some time to cover it all. Plenty of challenge for all levels. Had a... More

Nice location with slopes with a good variety of slopes for non-experts. Only drawback we found was a pub causing noise through the whole village . The pub name was Vinkkari. I do not understand why they are allowed to play ugly music at high noicelevels through the whole day. Luckily we did not stay in the village center

Best skiing resort in Finland. Lots of different type of pistes. There are also good possibilities to do cross country skiing. You can have a quiet vacation in a cabin or enjoy night life in Levi center. You can also find lots of restaurants, bars, shops and even a spa in Levi center. Good after ski in Vinkkari.
