The place is easy to find. Great products at great prices. Rare place to see the new invention: The self extracting bee-hive. Bees are so much friendlier than I thought. The staff was full of knowledge and made me feel safe around bees. Bring your camera for the 2 hour tour. At this time there are 2 tours a day. Fun for all who are not allergic to bee stings. Madiane(staff) opened my eyes to the beautiful world of the apiary.

Fun place to see bees at work. Great honey too. Try the creamed honey- we bought 2 jars and already are worried what we will do when we run out. Hope they have mail order! Lovely staff. Worth a trip!

We visited this gem with friends and it was a terrific experience. The bee keeper is extremely knowledgeable and has a great way of delivering information. We donned protective suits and handled the bees under his watchful eye. He explained in detail the process and the highlight was putting an unprotected hand on top of a conglomeration of bees and feeling the heat generated in the hive. After working with the bees we sampled the wine and we were able to purchase the honey and the wine. This was an outstanding visit and one not to be missed on any visit to Dalhousie . It is worth making a detour if you are up this way.

I came along on my way to canoe - as I’m a beekeeper in Germany I had to stop: Great time I had! All my questions were answered and more!!! Go there when you come along- you also can buy good products in the shop - not only honey!

We visited the honey house with two families, with a few family members who were terrified of bees. They left with a new appreciation of these beautiful winged insects and the importance they have to our everyday life. The experience in getting fully suited in protective gear and visit a bee hive was awesome.
The guide was very informative and interesting to listen to. I would strongly recommend visiting this honey house for a truly different experience.

If you're in the area, this is a must for a great family experience as long as you're not allergic to bees that is. Very friendly staff and it is very educational. You're respect for bees changes after passing through here. Seriously, I'm still somewhat scared of them but I don't kill them anymore!! LOL! Their honey is out of this world!!! I've tried other honey but there is no comparison to his honey! Another plus, his honey is non-pasteurized and that means the quality is high and full of anti-oxidants. Also, he has blueberry honey which is so delicious! They have a booth at the Farmers Market in Dalhousie and they have one during the Fall Fair in Charlo. You will be amazed at this bee house. It is worth it!!!
