Fascinating to see this temple, even if we are not allowed in as non-Hindus. It was amazing to see the bats crawling all over the tree as we came out too!

The Landmark at the heart of Ettumanoor Township. The growth and expansion of Ettumanoor flows from the Temple. Sabarimala Pilgrims ,must visit place of worship .It has the infrastructure to support the pilgrims. The support and encouragement by the Temple to the Art and Culture is praiseworthy

Really worth to pay a visit this old shiva temple where you are welcome as foreigner respecting the rules such as dress code and silence, as well as not making pictures inside.

A temple which truly takes you to the past. I first heard about this temple when I visited the historic Vaikom Mahadeva temple. Lovely temple about 10-15km from kottayam. Please be aware that temple only opens at 5pm in the evenings. If you are hiring a taxi please make sure the driver knows before hand or you will face issues later as they will demand to charge waiting time.
