You would be lucky to even find this palace. It took us a lot of driving around the city to accidentally find this landmark. It's being used for government offices, and upkeep is non existent. The access to the main site (the dome) was treacherous...More

Nice palace built in 17th century. Very nice example of rajput-islamic architecture. If you love palace of rajasthan than this one is also good.

Very nice palace built by Raja Vinay singh. Its architecture style is mixture of Mugal and Rajasthani styles. Must see place in alwar. Museum is also part of this palace.

The city palace is away from the main city but is worth a visit if you're looking for some water sports. The food is average. Avoid this place on the weekend as it's overwhelmingly crowded.

Alwar always a surprise. Off the beaten tracks in North Rajasthan you should visit the busy downtown of Alwar. The city palace occupied by offices is not a breathtaking sight, but at its "backyard" you will find the hidden gems of the town.
