Had been Ujjain on last October from Indore by cab. Mahakaleswar is a famous Shiva Temple(One of the twelfth Jyotirlingam) where every wish is being fulfilled by Lord Shiva. One can visit so many places at Ujjain(one of the place for Kumbha Mela at Ram Ghat) like Kal Bhairav temple or place like Pathshala where Lord Krishna and Lord Balaram... More

A must see for pilgrims and spiritualists. One of only 12 jyortirlingas in India, very powerful space. No bags, cameras, cell phones allowed inside but they provide lockers. Great place, great energy.

For all of the devotees landing up in indore via flight or otherwise, need not be worried. Ujjain is very easily accessible from Indore. So I suggest Indore as the nearest destination from which cab services can... More

There will always be a que depending on the season. I was lucky to complete the... More

It was my second visit. A lot has changed in last seven years. Now, one cannot go close to the shiv lingam. Darshan is from distance. It is a clean place. Well managed.

This place is very crowded usually but it is definitely worth a visit as you can witness devotion of people towards Lord Shiva. The temple in general is very well maintained and the priests there perform "Bhasma Aarti" which is considered very holy. Definitely worth visiting if you are devotee of Lord Shiva. This place is very crowded usually but... More
