Well we had it planned to hit the track on Wednesday. Web says Monday,Wednesday and Friday are race day June . I guess they don't have someone to change the schedule. And the casino only has VLTs, waste of time.

Grandriver Raceway. Friday evening is a lot of fun. The Raceway works hard to include the public via games before some races.

My bf lost his phone/keys/ID in the Elora Gorge. We found ourselves with no money, no access to our car, no phone, and in our bathing suits. After we were unable to get help for a few hours at the conservation area, we decided to try our luck by walking up the road. We stumbled into the raceway looking a bit rough and the staff immediately went above and beyond to help us, letting us use 2 of their phones even though we were on hold and tying up their lines for quite some time. They gave us shirts and coffee and were warm, kind, and caring - they were exactly the right strangers for us to bump into in our time of need. Shout out to Brittany at the administrative office and another Brittany at the clubhouse/bar! :D

Had the great pleasure of speaking at a business function held here. What a beautiful facility and incredible view of the track!!
Can't praise the staff enough for their warm reception, to making sure all AV was set up and that we had everything we needed. Thank you Katie, Dani & Jenna for everything. Hopefully we will be back again soon!

My 1st time here and got ripped off big time I put 3 100 dollar bill in 3 separate machines and it was like it ate the money and there was no play on machine and wen I tried to tell the manager on a separate issue from something else he said we will look into it 2 or 3 hours later I saw him again bothering a lady I knew from a previous casino and asked at same time and still said no we haven’t gotten into it yet like really ?!? 300 dollars of my money and it’s 3 hours later you haven’t recovered it ?!? So I basically walked out of there with more less of my money and never had a chance to play with that money to see if I lose fairly or won on a machine lol if you ask me that’s theft right there I will never go back to this casino never in my life

We enjoy the races as a family and the betting staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The buffet is definitely a disappointment. I would avoid it. Fun evening though.

First time visit for the Friday night buffet at 9.99. Everyone is allowed in at 4.45 and rush for a table and immediately get a place in line for the buffet. That's the worst of it. A nice variety of salads and vegetables. Beef was excellent however the lobster tail is doled out one at a time and difficult to remove from the shell due to overcooking. If you are someone that enjoy lobster you have to continuously line up again . The beef and yorkshire and veggies are worth the trip.

Always have a great time here. The dinner is buffet and pretty good. Watching the races is always fun. Have gone to the casino, as well but I admit, I love the races...especially with a group of friends.

My wife and I stopped in here on our way home to Windsor after visiting Elora. At first, we didn't like the denominations of the slots we were looking at.....very few penny machines. Eventually we found the penny area and played our token $50. Found a machine that gave us 300 free spins, and by the time we left it, we won $500. Nice. Extremely rare occurrence.

We went to the restaurant at Grand Valley raceway on Saturday night for our 45th anniversary. THe buffet was 9.99 each and the food was excellent.
We heard that one had to wait for 2 hours-we arrived at 4 pm and were seated at 4:45.
We did have to ask the waitress for water=she had not come to our table at all. THe buffet consisted of rolls, cabbage slaw, lettuce salad, roasted potatoes. cooked vegetables, mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding,prime rib and lobster tail
Someone told the waitress that is was our anniversary and the waitress gave us a piece of complimentary pie

Hi there: Dress comfortably, you see it all... however mostly nice casual dress, capris, dress jeans, and a sweater etc. in case you want to get up close and personal with the horses and stand by the track after dinner!!
