Tubing season was over, but still fun for a hike and walk along the water. Lots of young families, a pleasant place to spend a Saturday. The Main town is lovely. Look for other trails if you want a hard core hike.

We visited this park after October 15th, so officially it was closed but one could still walk there. We liked unique and picturesque views of the river there. Totally worth visiting.

We didn't go to Elora to visit the Gorge but we're glad we did. We didn't have to pay as other reviewers have mentioned, we didn't even know until now that there was a visitor centre. We simply followed the signs for the gorge through...More

Visited the Elora Gorge yesterday. Walked a lovely trail along the rim of the gorge through a beautiful cedar "forest". A great way to spend a sunny fall afternoon! Next visit will be down the stairway into the Gorge......with good hiking shoes!

Only a tourist would visit a outdoor attraction out of season in the rain. That said we enjoyed the experience. We stayed over in Guelph the previous night enroute to Wasaga Beach. In the two hours we spent in Gorge area we didn't see more...More

Elora Gorge has something for everyone, from nice hiking trails to expansive picnic areas, camping and interesting vistas of the river. Watching the tubers shoot the rapids provided good photo opportunities.

Hot early Fall day, but tubing is closed. Beautiful forest, nice vistas of the Grand River, but found no access to the water inside the Conservation Area. Had to climb a wire-fence to get our feet wet.

We were in the area for another event but on Monday morning (and 2 weeks AFTER Labour Day) we wanted to visit and walk around the Conservation Area a bit. At the gate was a miserable old lady who DEMANDED $6.50 for each of us....More

You may wish to contact the park directly. I'd guess they'd shut the front gates in which case the entire park is inaccessible.

The gorge is not he place to be cliff jumping. The river is barely 2 ft deep at most parts You are likely thinking of the elora quarry. Which is a swimming hole, however jumping is banned there. There is a fence that goes... More
