Nothing extraordinary at the temple. Cameras were not allowed. I took a tour for the entire facility. Not as large as some other ones.

If you are in the area, it is worth stopping here. Very quiet, spiritual environment. Lot's of stairs!

Although the number of monasteries is far fewer than it was in the past, those that remain are well-preserved and well worth an extended visit. The area is well sign-posted and so even visitors with no Chinese language skills will find the time well spent.

This temple is located in Sichuan E-Mei foothills of Phoenix under Ping, 533 meters above sea level. Though not very big, but has serene atmosphere. I love the play of Buddha songs. Felt very peaceful. There was cultural dance outside the temple during our visit.

It is good to visit as a first spot of Emeishan mountain tour. But it has average size and not as big as rest of temples .

Our tour bus dropped us off at Welcome Square. We walked up hill 5 to 7 minutes along a very beautiful pathway. There was a nice big space in front of the temple door; sometime they will hold events there. In front of the main...More
