If you want to see what a small Brazilian winery has to offer, this is a good choice. 15 reais and you try 10-15 wines (white, red and sparkling). The only problem is the price of the wines. If you are European (or Argentinean, Uruguayan or Chilean), you will laugh when you see the prices. A wine that would cost... More

Pizzato is a wonderful, boutique winery in a beautiful setting. You'll want to visit Pizzato for that reason alone. But that's not the best reason to visit. You'll want to try their wines! They make a full range of wines, but our favorites by far are their Merlot (DNA 99) and Concentus (a Right Bank Bordeaux style wine - primarily... More

This was the last winery I visited in the Vale dos Vinhedos and I went for their famous DNA 99 merlot which is considered one of the two best red wines in Brazil. Friends had gone and had said wonderful things about the experience. First of all, this is a smaller vineyard which produces about 200,000 bottles a year. The... More

The best thing about this winery is that they're passionated about making wine. They're a small productor and small property and the tour is not touristic organized - so, you come in, meet the owners and go with them to visit the installations and plantation. The tasting is very good, with different options and they have really good wines, such... More
