This museum is well worth the trip from central Copenhagen: 30 minutes by train and then a 10 minute walk brought us to a beautiful place. The location is great already with a lovely garden and a view across the sea. We very much liked the exhibitions inside as well as outside. We experienced a mix of art styles and... More

I have been looking all day for the Giant Realistic Flying Tiger. I am a bit bummed because I did not say good morning to her this dappy morning. On a happy fun Sunday, took the 8:41 a.m. train (København H) to Humlebaek and arrive at 9:21 a.m. (actually, you take the train with the destination to Helsingør). A nice... More

Fantastic setting for this modern gallery. The gardens are beautiful and sea views are stunning. It is well worth a short train ride out of the city and such interesting scenery en route. It was first class.

Loved everthoing about this trip to Louisiana Museum. Started with the drive up the coast to arrive in a gorgeous setting. Beutiful old building marrying together with a new impressive building. Interesting exhibitions and again going late in the afternoon meant little or no crowds. The locals are very proud of this museum.

The Louisiana is easy to access via train from Copenhagen's central station, if you decide to go, take the train! The museum is situated on the edge of the water which would be enjoyable if it weren't for the throngs of kids screaming and running around the galleries and grounds. The exhibitions weren't memorable.

There is so much to see at this museum, you can't get bored. For kids, there are 3 levels of creative spaces with materials inspired by the exhibitions -- they can see the galleries and then make pieces of their own. Outside there is a long slide down the hillside and trails to follow. Placards explaining the background of the... More

If you have an interest in art, architecture, food, great coastal views and design, then this is well worth the 25 min train journey north out of Copenhagen centre. It is a short walk, which is well signposted, from the station and has some excellent permanent work in its galleries as well as changing exhibitions. The buildings and grounds are... More
