If you are into coasters, you are probably already aware of Fujikyu Highland and are probably visiting for this reason. If not, you should be. Anyone who has any interest in them should check out this amusement park. Too much to describe, so check out their website. Cedar Point (Sandusky, Ohio, USA) claims to be the Roller Coaster capital of... More

We went to Takabisha (twice) / Fujiyama (twice) / The scary hospital (forgot its name) / Nagashimasuka / Cool Jappaan. The roller coasters are really awesome - as an evidence, I puked 3 times out of the 4 rides. Unfortunately for my girlfriend / fortunately for me, the queue for Eejanaika was too long and we didn't take it. The... More

This hotel has great views of Mount Fuji and very good facilities for families, however make sure you pack an iron and ironing board because they will not supply one! We travel a fair bit and it's the first time in many years that we have come across a hotel that did not have this service. So expect to walk... More

This place is well worth the time and the money if you do it right! We went on a sat at the end of Golden Week so we were a bit worried but if you plan it you're good! We booked a bus from Shinjuku with highway-buses.jp for the afternoon before going to the park. We got to the Shinjuku... More

The park is located in the Fuji Five Lake region at the foot of Mount Fuji. It has a few thrilling, breath-taking roller coasters. Also there are lots of enjoying rides and attractions. It give an amazing view of the Fuji mountain if the weather permits. If this is what you like - the open ticket is worth - as... More

Honestly I can't recommend this place from a value for money point of view. I rode two of the better roller coasters, which were great, but there were also two that I couldn't ride because they were closed. Very disappointing. I went there mid week, in off season and the place was almost deserted, but despite that, I still had... More

What a horrible experience. We went to Fuji Q on one of our last days in Japan, as the weather had been pretty terrible. The trip from Tokyo was a bit of a trek, but we were convinced it would be worth it. When we got there at opening time, nothing was open. We weren't too concerned, as we knew... More

Fuji Q is a rollercoaster theme park in Japan. You can buy a full day unlimited pass or just pay approx $25 AUD entrance fee and 10000Yen per rollercoaster ride inside. We went on two rollercoasters and queued up for about 1 hour for each. The most scariest ride I've ever been on was Eejanaika, a backwards roller coaster ride.... More

I went to the park only to visit the labyrinth of fear. It was very good! I recommend for everybody who like Japanese horror movies!

I went to Fuji-Q to see three things - the Evangelion Display, the Ferris wheel (so I could get great photos of Mt Fuji) and the "Super scary labyrinth of terror" (as it was labelled on the brochure). Not a problem with the first two - I had Eva:World to myself, so got plenty of good photos of the displays,... More
