I did four days of kayaking with english/spanish speaking guide Fidel on the Futaleufu river. We started on easier sections and progressed to harder rapids as I got more comfortable on the water. Thanks Fidel. I loved paddling the Futa - definitely keen to come back.

What an amazing adventure and cultural experience. Julian and Katie did an incredible job planning our trip according to our wants and needs. We mountain biked, hiked, fly fished, and river rafted.
Julian knows this part of the country inside and out. We felt completely comfortable and safe the entire time. Because of his relationships with the locals I felt I received a "true" cultural experience. It was a real treasure to meet and socialize with the people of El Bolson.
Every destination was unique and exciting. The food was incredible and so fresh. Julian also carved out some time to enjoy the local market to purchase one of a kind handmade goodies. The people of Argentina are very kind and we felt lucky to spend a week with them.
Hands down I would recommend this trip and with this company to anyone. I can't wait to start planning our next trip with Julian and Katie, but this time we are taking our teenagers!

Everything you could want out of an adventure outfitter, you get. Professional. Safe. Personable. Knowledgable. They simply made the adventure.

I hired Paddle Patagonia to run the adventure activities for one of my entrepreneur retreats with Mastermind Adventures.

Katie spent hours on email and Skype with me to help me design and develop a memorable and magical itinerary. When the event arrived, Julian and his co-guide Mirko were incredible leaders: professional and hard working yet also incredibly fun.

We spent the week hiking, biking, rafting and exploring Patagonia, and Paddle Patagonia made it magical in every sense of the word. I’ll be using them again next year when I run this retreat again!

I recently returned from a trip of a lifetime to Patagonia. Julian does an amazing job of delivering the best possible experience. He is a great communicator and planner. The safety, equipment, planning, and overall experience was top shelf! I highly recommend Paddle Patagonia!

What an amazing experience I had in El Bolson. From white water rafting to mountain biking to breathtaking hikes, this had it all. Our group had an absolute blast and a big part of it was because of the fun and energy that all the Paddle Patagonia guides had. A special thanks to Julian and Mierco for being the absolute best :)

If you ever thought of travelling to Patagonia, Paddle Patagonia is the right team to help you organize the trip. 10 out of 10 for me and I can't wait to go back.

It was my first time visiting Argentina's most captivating region and I don't think my experience could have been any better, truly. Over our 7 day stay with a group of 15 friends (all different physical activity levels and preferences), we experienced everything this magical region has to offer, with zero stress.

About Our Accommodations & Food:

We stayed in La Confluencia Lodge, a very comfortable and cozy lodge with all necessities and amenities including 2 hot tubs and a sauna. It's a 20 minute drive from the closest town of El Bolson but that was totally fine because we had 2 chefs, Julietta and Ignacio, making daily breakfast and dinner for us. As for lunch, as a result of daily activities, we ate at various local places. Everything was local, delicious and traditional.

About Our Guides:
I've traveled around the world and am comfortable saying that Julian and Mirko, our fearless guides, are the most passionate, enthusiastic, funny, caring and hard working guides I've ever had the pleasure of spending 7 days with. As complicated as our group and week was, the team at Paddle Patagonia made everything seamless, with huge smiles on their faces at all times.

About Our Activities:
- Hiking and trail running: where we stayed we had many trail options that were easy to navigate
- White water rafting (2 different days and locations)
- Horse back riding (a request we made just one day in advance)
- Canyoneering
- Mountain biking
- Fly fishing!

A big reason I travel is to bond with the people and get a true cultural experience including cuisine, hobbies, and life-style of the region. Paddle Patagonia delivered beyond my wildest expectations.

Love you guys!

Paddle Patagonia worked with us to develop a perfect itinerary for our Patagonia and South American adventure. My husband and I paddle whitewater at different skill levels. They put together a 6-day river adventure that was exciting for us both. For 6 days we paddled exciting rivers in Argentina and Chile, including the Manso and Futaleufu. Each night we enjoyed great local food and relaxed at lodges with friends hosts and surrounded by the gorgeous snow-capped Andes mountains. Our trip was simultaneously relaxing and exhilarating.

We were on a month long family camping trip from San Martin de Los Andes to El Calafate down the Ruta 40. I knew I wanted to paddle but could not bring my kayak (I got to paddle my inflatable SUP instead though!). After kayaking for a good few years I have always had shall we say a less than optimal roll. While in El Bolson I came across Paddle Patagonia and emailed them about some rolling instruction. Katie got back to me straight away. A few hours of rolling instruction was not something they usually offer but they were more than happy to help me out. I was stoked. Myself, my partner and our 3 kids met Katie, Julian and their son Teo at Lago Puelo one beautiful afternoon. While the families hung out Julian took me through some instruction. He was super patient with my obvious deficiencies and had an uncanny knack for explaining things. He was easily able to re-adjust explanation points if I wasn't getting it. By the end of a couple of hours I was much more happy and confident with my roll thanks to Julian. I cannot recommend Paddle Patagonia enough. Super friendly and stoked. I just wish I had the opportunity to join them for one of their longer trips. They look great! I hope to get back down to paddle with them some time.

I had the pleasure of joining a Canadian couple on a day trip on the Azul River, due to low water we were offered a change of plans and paddled another river.

It was a great trip, well organised, professional instructor and equipment in a marvelous environment. Eventhough our skill levels were distributed over a wide range we all got the right amount of attention and were instructed to take different lines we all were comfortable with. Julian really knew the river by heart and had an excellent eye for what we wanted. Loved the play spot at the end and yes the after care with coffee and homemade cake was spot on.

Point of advise, don't be Dutch like me and join in the offered lunch package, the homemade cookies and bread toppings looked amazing ;)

Looking forward to some of the pictures taken along the way by Julian as a reminder of the great views and laughter of the day!

Great value for money, this is a professional operation where your safety comes first and the equipment is outstanding a solid basis for enjoying the rivers on all levels!
