We regularly visit Mariam and the children absolutely love coming. Wonderful help staff and well maintained grounds. We’ve attended special events over the years and it’s always been a great experience and disabled friendly.

Was ok until we went into the cafe, was overpriced and even though the menu said various hot snacks the unhelpful attendant said they only had soup and sandwiches and the coffee was revolting

I'm not sure. I imagine they would lock the gates at the closing time so I don't know how they would monitor people in the grounds as the park is a vast size.

Yes you can, you can walk along the road into Margam Parc, just be aware of the traffic :) then you don’t pay as you only pay if you park a car in their car park :)
