I lovely little island where all the locals are happy to see you and interact with you. I stayed on pele island for 2 nights at a place called Enoch Bungalows where you pay 3500Vatu per person and have your accom and all meals. The food is some of the best you'll get too. The boat over is 500vatu per... More

Spending the day at Pele Island was absolutely INCREDIBLE! The water was crystal clear blue and absolutely beautiful. We went in a little boat out in the very deep water around 70m deep. There were stingrays at the very bottom and the coral and fish were stunning. There were so many different colours and species. We also walked around the... More

We spent three nights here but I could have easily stayed a week. With no electricity, internet, cars, it was just bliss. We were lucky to have the most beautiful weather and spent our time reading, snorkelling, eating and walking the island. The walk around the island is highly recommended, I loved walking through the four villages located back from... More

We were in Vanuatu for a few weeks but wanted to show our kids (aged 9,12 and 14) a more authentic island experience. We found Simoa Bungalows on Pele island (they also have a Facebook page with Mark's contact phone number). I just rang and spoke to Mark and we worked out what nights to come. Mark and Miriam Strong... More

We went to Pele with some friends and has a great day. It is a full day out but well worth it. Make sure you take water and plenty of sunscreen. It's a short boat trip from the mainland. The snorkelling is fantastic.

I stayed at Simoa Bungalows for 3 nights with Mark & Miriam Strong and walked around the island, enjoying the calm, sandy southern side, as well as the windy, wild northern side. With three community-managed Marine Protected Areas the snorkeling is terrific and the Pele Islanders are very friendly and hospitable.

We have had an amazing time in the island, swimming and snorkelling, exploring the area, getting to know the beauriful local people, enjoying stunning sunsets and local food! We stayed at George Kalsong bungalows, which were on a beautiful location on the beach. We enjoyed our time there very much, and felt so welcome. George and his wife are beautiful... More
